Main information

As a part of our company activity, we design concrete bridges. The scope of our services includes executive projects, renovation projects and expert assessments. We realize projects of beam, plate and rigid framed bridges. Our company has the necessary tools and a base of completed engineering objects, so the design process is very efficient and effective. Our experts’ experience (from the construction site as well as from the design office) allows us to solve issues concerning concrete bridges easily and effortlessly.

Structural analysis

In order to estimate inner forces and the amount of necessary reinforcement we use the finite element method (FEM). All calculations are backed up by manual calculations executed according to appropriate rules. Using the SOFiSTiK software allows us to have a comprehensive approach to concrete bridge calculations. Depending on the type of design issue, defining inner forces and stress in steel and concrete is executed in linear or non-linear analysis. The range of nonlinear analysis takes into consideration material nonlinearity (the work of concrete in 2nd phase, softening of steel). Additionally, we offer full latitude in the way of modeling the construction. Through the use of CSM module, we are able to reflect various construction methods. All calculations are with a set of loads, including a detailed estimated impact of rheology.
