Kościerzyna – Gdynia Railway Bridges

Eleven railway bridges were examined. Eight of them were concrete structures, two steel bridges and one composite. The main tasks were surveys of the object as well as a structural and strength analysis. Surveys were undertaken to define each object: eccentric arrangement of the track to the axis of the bridge, clear span and clearance, technical condition of construction and to localize benchmarks.

Numerical models of constructions were created in SOFiSTiK software using BEAM and QUAD elements.
