Investment: Construction of the S-7 Expressway
A numerical 3D model of construction was created using QUAD elements. Structural and strength analysis was undertaken.
The additional 2D model was created to reflect actual cooperation of soil with construction. The soil was imitated by QUAD elements, while the construction used BEAM and QUAD elements. At the interface between soil and construction element reflecting cooperation was added.
